Description:These are very low abrasiveness mineral composites, if compared to the crystalline and amorphous natural silicas.
Function: opacity, resistance to scratch and resistance to abrasion, adhesive resistance, mechanical reinforcement and rheological modifier. In certain special coatings, the precipitated silica is used for rheological control of the suspension because it acts as a thickening agent, that is, increases the viscosity in order to avoid the flowing in the use.
