Description: These are microcrystalline silicas surface coated with vinylic organosilane (- CH=CH2) in 500 and 635 mesh. The 2199A product is finer when compared to ITASIL 2199. The coating present around the particles acts as lubricant, reducing the precocious wear and tear of the equipment.
Function: resistance to abrasion, resistance to water absorption and saline environment.
